4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (ankle), who hasn't played since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 2, was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. All signs are pointing toward McCaffrey making his return in Week 9 against the Chiefs. The 24-year-old was the No. 1 overall pick in the vast majority of fantasy drafts, so if he's active as expected this Sunday, he needs to be returned to all fantasy starting lineups as an elite RB1. Mike Davis has been a useful fill-in for those that lost McCaffrey early in the season, but he should revert to being a sparsely used backup behind a healthy McCaffrey.
