Eagles Defense Does Well In Week 8
4 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles Defense played well as expected against a Ben DiNucci-led Dallas Cowboys team in Week 8. The Eagles Defense allowed just nine points (on three field goals) and added four sacks. While they did not come down with an interception, they did force and recover two fumbles, including one strip sack that turned into a touchdown. In standard scoring formats, the Eagles defensive unit put up 20 fantasy points, good for their highest scoring week of the season so far. The Eagles also put up 18 fantasy points in Week 4, but have combined for 22 points total in the other six weeks. They can play well with good matchups, but may be too inconsistent to rely on as a weekly lineup staple. They'll have a Week 9 bye before they take on the Giants in Week 10.
