Tony Pollard Gets Nine Touches In Week 8 Loss
4 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard ran the ball seven times for 40 yards and added two catches on two targets for 24 yards. Pollard fell well behind starter Ezekiel Elliott's 21 touches, but came close to his 73 total yards. Pollard looked like the more effective running back in the box score, but the Eagles Defense basically game planned to take Elliott out of the game. Both Pollard and Elliott have taken huge hits in their fantasy value with the loss of Dak Prescott (ankle) for the season. Pollard is still worth rostering, but shouldn't be started in most leagues as long as Elliott stays on the field.
