DeSean Jackson Going On Injured Reserve
4 years agoAn MRI exam on Friday confirmed that Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (ankle) suffered a high-ankle injury in the Thursday night win over the Giants, and the Eagles will place him on Injured Reserve. He'll be out for at least the next three weeks, but given Jackson's notorious nature of being a slow healer, he could be out well beyond that. D-Jax was returning from a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury on Thursday. He had one carry for 12 yards and caught three of his five targets for 34 yards on 38 offensive plays (53 percent of the offensive snap) as the Eagles eased him back onto the field. Jackson isn't worth holding onto in most standard-sized formats.
