Drew Lock Struggles With Accuracy In Return
4 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock struggled to get much of anything going in his return from a right shoulder sprain, but he nevertheless led his team to an 18-12 victory on the road against the Patriots in Week 6. Lock was just 10-for-24 for 189 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions, and he also fumbled the ball, but it was luckily recovered by Denver. Missing the previous two games and also being without two of his top offensive weapons in running back Melvin Gordon III (illness) and tight end Noah Fant (ankle) against a tough New England defense, it's no wonder he wasn't at his best. Lock will have better games, but for now, he should be considered a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues. He'll probably be forced to throw often in the Week 7 divisional clash against the Chiefs, but that won't make him a streaming option in single-QB leagues.
