Kirk Cousins Knows He Must Improve
4 years agoMinnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer didn't give any thought to benching quarterback Kirk Cousins after he threw three first-half interceptions in the eventual 40-23 loss to the Falcons in Week 6, but Cousins is aware that he won't make it through the season if his interception trend continues after the team's Week 7 bye. In six games this year, the 32-year-old leads the league with 10 interceptions after he threw six in 2019. Despite the picks, Cousins helped his fantasy managers thanks to garbage-time production, going 24-for-36 for 343 yards and three touchdowns. Following their bye, the Vikings will face the Packers in another game where Cousins could rack up yardage in comeback mode.
