Nick Foles Does Enough In Win
4 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Nick Foles completed 23-of-39 passes for 198 yards, one touchdown, one rushing touchdown and one interception in the Bears 23-16 win over the Panthers in Week 6. The Bears Defense picked off Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater on the first drive, setting up a short field for Foles to take advantage with a nine-yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end Cole Kmet. The veteran passer received a similar opportunity in the second half and promptly threw an awful interception. Such is life for Bears fans with Nick Foles under center, a player who can make some big-time throws mixed with inconsistent stretches. It will be hard to justify starting Foles in fantasy lineups next week against the Rams on Monday Night Football.
