4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) is likely to return in Week 5 against the Dolphins. However, Shanahan still wants to see Garoppolo get through Friday's practice without issues before making the decision final. Miami hasn't been able to slow down opposing quarterbacks so far this year, as they've allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to signal-callers, and Garoppolo will return to all of his offensive weapons. However, Jimmy G may not be quite 100 percent after dealing with a high ankle sprain, and the Niners likely won't need him to throw a ton to win this game comfortably.
