Edson Barboza Hoping To Get Back To His Winning Ways
4 years agoIt's no secret that American Top Team product Edson Barboza (20-9) will attempt to kick out the base of his opponent and then look for the knockout blow. Though Barboza has lost five of his last six bouts, he is always one strike away from winning the contest. Check out his wheel-kick knockout of the year of Terry Etim for more information. His opponent for the night, Makwan Amirkhani, has won two of his last three bouts by anaconda chokes, so this is a definite striker-versus-grappler battle. DraftKings has the striker listed at $8,800, which is $1,400 more than his opponent. The contest is much closer than that gap suggests, and it's probably not worth the bet to roster Barboza for that much.
