Carlos Dunlap's Role In Bengals Defense Is Diminishing
4 years agoAccording to Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap, he will be relegated to third-down duties on defense in Week 5 against the Ravens, and he's not happy about it. Dunlap has been with the Bengals since 2010 when he was drafted in the second round, and he's a two-time Pro Bowler and the team's all-time sack leader. However, the veteran is ranked 46th among 82 qualifying defensive ends in edge-rush-stop-win rate, according to Next Gen Stats. Dunlap has two QB hits, one tackle for loss and no sacks through four games this season and should obviously be avoided in IDP leagues moving forward. The Ravens, Cincy's Week 5 opponent, is third in the league in total rushing and second in yards per carry, while the Bengals have allowed the fifth-most rushing yards in the NFL. You can safely avoid the Bengals Defense in all leagues this weekend.
