Damien Harris Being Activated To Play Monday Night
4 years agoThe New England Patriots are activating running back Damien Harris (hand) off Injured Reserve in order to play on Monday night against the Chiefs, according to a source. With Sony Michel (quadriceps) going on Injured Reserve in a corresponding move, Harris will get carries on Monday and moving forward. The 23-year-old will be making his season debut, although he'll be quite a risky in fantasy lineups against KC, as the Patriots could ease him back into the fold and limit his workload. Both James White and Rex Burkhead are both more attractive flex plays, especially in PPR leagues, with New England likely having to throw often to keep up with the explosive Chiefs offense. But if you own Michel or another injured running back, Harris is absolutely worth scooping up off the waiver wire immediately, as he has a good shot at becoming the team's lead back the rest of the way.
