Chiefs-Patriots Not Expected To Play Sunday
4 years agoThe expectation is that the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots game will not be played as scheduled on Sunday in Week 4, according to a source. This comes after a positive COVID-19 test for Patriots quarterback Cam Newton. Because of the positive test, Newton has already been ruled out of the game, and the NFL could decide to postpone the game entirely until later in the year, much like they did with the Titans-Steelers game this weekend after a COVID-19 outbreak within the Titans organization this week. As of right now, the NFL is planning on moving the game back to Monday or Tuesday, but fantasy managers should have backup plans in place in case the game is moved out of Week 4 entirely. Check back frequently for updates on this developing situation.
