Andrus Peat Has High Ankle Sprain
4 years agoThe initial diagnosis on New Orleans Saints offensive guard Andrus Peat (ankle) showed a high ankle injury, according to a source. Peat will undergo more tests on Monday after getting injured in the Sunday night loss to the Packers, but high ankle injuries can sideline players up to six weeks, so don't be surprised if the Saints lose one of their best offensive lineman for multiple weeks. The 26-year-old also missed some time in 2019 with a broken arm. New Orleans will be crossing their fingers that he won't be sidelined for too long, as Peat made the Pro Bowl in both 2018 and 2019 despite not playing a full season in either year.
