Marlon Mack Out For Season With Torn Achilles
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Marlon Mack (Achilles) will officially miss the rest of the 2020 season after suffering a torn Achilles in the Week 1 loss to the Jaguars. Mack had four carries for 26 yards and three catches for 30 yards before leaving with the injury in the second quarter. It comes after he rushed for 1,091 yards in a breakout 2019 season. Mack has never played a full 16-game slate in his four years in the NFL, and he's set to become a free agent in 2021. Nyheim Hines and rookie Jonathan Taylor each had 15 touches on Sunday, with Taylor earning 89 scrimmage yards and Hines going for 73 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns while getting a lot of red-zone action. Hines will be one of the hottest waiver pickups heading into Week 2, while Taylor will basically be a must-start RB2 from here on out.
