Duke Johnson A Long Shot To Play In Week 2
4 years agoHouston Texans running back Duke Johnson (ankle), who sprained his ankle in the game last Thursday against the Chiefs, is considered week-to-week and is a long shot to play in Week 2 against the Ravens, according to a source. However, he has a chance to play in Week 3, as it's not believed to be a serious injury. Buddy Howell would be next in line for backup duties behind David Johnson, but he'll have no standalone value if Duke Johnson is inactive this Sunday. Johnson had just five carries for 14 yards in Week 1 against the Chiefs before getting hurt. He'll likely be dropped in shallower formats since he's unlikely to play this weekend, but he could have some deep PPR league value once he returns.
