4 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers Defense had a fantastic year last year, finishing second in the league in yards allowed per game (281.8) and eighth in points allowed per game (19.4). However, they open this season against an Arizona Cardinals offense that will be looking to push the pace all game long, which could lead to a high-scoring affair. Last year, the Cardinals averaged 25.5 points per game against the 49ers and this year, quarterback Kyler Murray has a full year of experience under his belt and a new, elite receiver at his disposal in DeAndre Hopkins.
