4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receivers Deebo Samuel (foot) and Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) and cornerback Jason Verrett (hamstring) all missed practice on Wednesday. Samuel was activated from the Non-Football Injury list over the weekend, but he's no lock to play in Week 1 against Arizona. The same rings true for the rookie Aiyuk. With both receivers hurt, Kendrick Bourne and Dante Pettis figure to have much bigger roles in the passing game this Sunday, as well as tight end George Kittle and maybe even the forgotten man in Jerick McKinnon. Even if Samuel and Aiyuk are active on game day, they'll be risky WR4/flex plays in season-long leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
