Vikings Put Danielle Hunter On Injured Reserve
4 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings placed defensive end Danielle Hunter (undisclosed) on Injured Reserve on Wednesday, meaning he'll miss at least the first three games of the season. Hunter hasn't practiced since last month with an undisclosed injury. The former LSU Tiger has 14.5 sacks in each of the last two years, but the Vikings will be without a key defensive playmaker early on. When healthy, the 25-year-old is a starter at defensive line in IDP leagues, but you'll have to go in another direction if you own him. Minnesota's acquisition of defensive end Yannick Ngakoue is looking even better now. The Vikings Defense will now be slightly less attractive as a low-end starting defensive unit with Hunter on IR.
