Danielle Hunter's Week 1 Status In Doubt
4 years agoMinnesota Vikings defensive end Danielle Hunter's (undisclosed) status for the season opener in Week 1 is very much in doubt. If Hunter practices on Wednesday, he'll likely be limited. His chances of playing against the Packers this weekend could depend on whether he can get in a full practice by Friday. The 25-year-old pass-rusher is a key piece of the Vikings Defense and has made the Pro Bowl each of the last two seasons. He had 70 combined tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 22 QB hits and has had exactly 14.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons. If Hunter is active on Sunday, he should be started in IDP leagues. If he's unable to go, it'd be good news for Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay's passing attack to kick off the season.
