Patrick Mahomes Has Been Great In Chiefs Losses
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a 108.2 passer rating in games that the Chiefs have lost, including the playoffs, in his time as a starter the last two full seasons. His passer rating for all games, including the playoffs, sits at 108.6. In Mahomes' 36 career starts, including the postseason, the Chiefs are 28-8 (.778). The Super Bowl MVP has never had a QBR below 52.6 in the seven games the team has lost when he has started. It goes to show how good Mahomes has been so far in his career, even when KC winds up on the losing end. The 24-year-old signed a 10-year, $503 million extension and will remain with the Chiefs through the 2031 season. He came off fantasy boards early in drafts as the first or second QB and will be a must-start all year long, including on Thursday night in the 2020 season opener against Houston.
