4 years agoThe Chicago Bears placed kicker Eddy Pineiro (groin) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, and Cairo Santos is now expected to be the starting kicker in Week 1 against the Lions. Pineiro will be eligible to return after missing the first three weeks, but he can obviously be avoided to begin the year in all fantasy leagues. Santos, 28, kicked in five games for the Titans last year but made just 44.4 percent of his nine field-goal tries. The veteran kicker will just be keeping the spot warm until Pineiro returns from his injury, so he's not a good bet as a starting fantasy kicker at the beginning of the 2020 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
