Phillip Dorsett II Dealing With Sore Foot
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that wide receiver Phillip Dorsett II (foot) has a sore foot and would not practice on Monday. It doesn't sound like a serious injury, but it bears watching over the coming days. Dorsett could make some noise as a speedy deep threat in Seattle's offense this year, but he's competing with David Moore and John Ursua for the No. 3 role behind Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf. The 27-year-old had 29 catches for 397 yards and five touchdowns in 14 games in 2019 for the Patriots. If he wins the No. 3 job and finds a connection with quarterback Russell Wilson, he might be worth a stab off the waiver wire in deeper leagues.
