4 years agoThe Minnesota Vikings are limiting running back Dalvin Cook's workload in practices while the two sides try to work out a long-term contract extension. "This situation has to come to a head soon," Pelissero said. "Either Cook is gonna become one of the higher-paid running backs in the NFL on a fair, long-term deal with the Vikings or they're eventually gonna re-integrate him into practice and he will be playing out the final year of his rookie contract." Whether Cook signs a long-term deal or not, he's a consensus top-five fantasy running back in Minnesota, and he could even factor more into the passing game in 2020 now that Stefon Diggs is in Buffalo.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
