4 years agoBoston Red Sox pitcher Dylan Covey was recalled by the team and fellow hurler Ryan Weber was sent to the team's alternate training site in a corresponding move on Saturday. The writing was on the wall for Weber, who allowed 15 hits, 11 runs and nine walks in 20 innings pitched. Covey, who owns a career 6.56 ERA, doesn't exactly have a great track record either but this is the position Boston is in right now. They simply need arms right now with Chris Sale (elbow) and Eduardo Rodriguez (illness) done for the year.--Tim Capurso
