J.P. Crawford Out Of The Lineup On Friday
4 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford has been a pleasant surprise for the team so far this year. He's slashing .280/.410/.380 with 10 walks and 12 runs through 14 games on the year. Crawford had led off the team's previous nine games but he'll get a day off on Friday. Second baseman Shed Long Jr. is stepping into the leadoff spot and Dee Gordon is shifting over to cover shortstop. Crawford is certainly someone worth monitoring in deep leagues and AL-only leagues as he could be a solid source of runs and batting average help if he stays hot.
