4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (back) threw a 15-pitch bullpen session on Sunday and will throw another one on Tuesday, according to manager Dave Roberts. Kershaw went on the injured list last Thursday with back stiffness, which is the fourth time in his career he's dealt with this injury. The All-Star left-hander said he injured himself in the weight room doing core exercises. He's dealt with injuries in recent seasons, but he still managed to go 16-5 with a 3.03 ERA in 28 starts in 2019. Even though Kershaw isn't the elite pitcher we've come to known, he's still a must-start with LA's explosive offense backing him each and every time he toes the rubber. Pitching prospect Dustin May is scheduled to cover Kershaw's spot again on Wednesday against the Astros.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
