Garrett Cooper Tests Positive For COVID-19
4 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman/outfielder Garrett Cooper has tested positive for COVID-19. Cooper was placed on the injured list for "undisclosed" reasons, but Robert Murray, formerly of The Athletic, tweeted the diagnosis. Cooper joins Jose Urena, Harold Ramirez, and Jorge Alfaro as Marlins who have tested positive. They'll need to self-quarantine for at least 14 days and will not be eligible to return to the field until they have received two consecutive negative tests.
