Keibert Ruiz Rejoins Team
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that catching prospect Keibert Ruiz was expected to be in summer camp for Friday's workout. Ruiz was placed on the team's 10-day injured list earlier this week, but he's good to go now. The switch-hitting soon-to-be 22-year-old is the club's top catching prospect and their No. 4 overall prospect, according to MLB Pipeline. He hit .261/.331/.347 with six home runs, 34 RBI and 39 runs scored in 85 games for Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City last season in the minors. There's a remote chance that Ruiz will make his MLB debut in 2020, but Will Smith remains ahead of him and he doesn't have any real redraft value just yet.
