Keston Hiura's Injury Not Serious
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers general manager David Stearns said that second baseman Keston Hiura's arm soreness isn't "something that's potentially lingering." Hiura was scratched from the team's intrasquad game on Wednesday as a precaution because of arm fatigue, so fantasy owners shouldn't be worried at all. The 23-year-old is day-to-day and should be ready for Opening Day next Friday, barring a setback. Hiura was a highly regarded prospect before making his debut in 2019, and he didn't disappoint by slugging 19 home runs, hitting .309 and stealing nine bases in his first year in the Show. There is high-end upside at the keystone position with Hiura, and he's currently coming off the board as the 49th pick, on average.
