Julio Rodriguez Suffers Fractured Wrist
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfield prospect Julio Rodriguez (wrist) was diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his left wrist on Thursday after he was injured on Wednesday. Although probably unlikely, Rodriguez had a chance to make his major league debut for a young Mariners team in 2020, but this injury likely means we won't see him in a big league uniform at least until 2021. Seattle's No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, Rodriguez is only 19 years old yet is already one of the top outfield prospects in the game. The Dominican hit a combined .326/.390/.540 with 12 home runs, 69 RBI and 63 runs scored in 84 games with Single-A West Virginia and High-A Modesto last season. You can ignore him in redraft leagues, but his dynasty stock remains high.
