Joey Gallo Tests Negative On Tuesday
4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo tested negative for COVID-19 on Tuesday via a nasal swab at a private lab in Dallas. Gallo must test negative again within 24 hours in order to be cleared to return to the field. The left-handed slugger has had two negatives on nasal swabs, but he also had a positive saliva test by MLB in between. It sounds like Gallos is getting close to returning to summer camp, but stay tuned. If he's back soon, the 26-year-old will be an even more popular pick to lead baseball in home runs during the 60-game season. He possesses elite power from the left side but probably won't be a huge asset in batting average. Gallo is a top-25 outfielder with an ADP of 72.0 right now.
