Rich Hill Fully Recovered From Elbow Surgery
4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Rich Hill (elbow) threw a bullpen session on Friday and is fully recovered from offseason elbow surgery. "It didn't look like he was holding anything back," president Derek Falvey said. "He feels good." The 40-year-old southpaw is one of the players that really benefited from the season being delayed, as he wasn't going to be on the radar of many in redraft leagues if the season had started on time. Hill isn't the most sexy arm for fantasy purposes, but he continues to get it done when he's on the field, despite his age. He had a 2.45 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 72:18 K:BB over 58 2/3 innings in his final season with the Dodgers last year. He could be the perfect pitcher to round out your starting pitching depth now that he should be ready for Opening Day.
