5 years agoThe Texas Rangers selected Mississippi State second baseman Justin Foscue with the 14th overall pick in the 2020 MLB draft on Wednesday. Foscue was the U.S. collegiate national team's starter at second base last summer and has a game compared to former Giants star second baseman Jeff Kent. He can generate plenty of power from the right side of the plate and uses a pull-heavy approach. Despite being pretty aggressive with the lumber, the 21-year-old makes regular contact at the dish and could be a 20-homer guy at the keystone. Foscue has average speed on the base paths and could also play the hot corner at the next level in a pinch.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
