Kelvin Harmon 2020 Outlook: Expected Starter With Deep-Sleeper Potential
5 years agoConsidering he was a sixth-round rookie last year, Kelvin Harmon didn't do half bad for himself, bringing in 30 catches for 365 scoreless yards in 16 games (eight starts). He also caught 68.2 percent of the passes thrown his way. The North Carolina State product will turn 24 in December and is expected to be the front-runner to start opposite of No. 1 wideout Terry McLaurin for the Redskins in 2020. While this offense is young and inexperienced under second-year QB Dwayne Haskins, Harmon could have plenty of opportunities as a starter if the team is playing from behind often. He also has good chemistry with Haskins, with most of his production coming late in 2019 when Haskins was the starter. The opportunity is there for Harmon to make a second-year leap as a WR5/6 sleeper.
