Patrick Mahomes 2020 Outlook: Not Going Away As Elite High-End QB1
5 years agoWe knew that Patrick Mahomes' 2018 MVP season was the high-water mark for any QB -- 5,097 passing yards, 8.6 touchdown percentage, 50 touchdowns, 12 interceptions. He was still a Pro Bowler last year and led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl title, but he wasn't quite as good in the regular season with 4,031 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and five interceptions in 14 games, but that was still good enough to finish as the QB10 in standard scoring. He's still just 24 years old and has a lot of great football left in him, and the Chiefs offense is returning completely intact in 2020. In fact, they're even better with rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire added to the mix. Along with Lamar Jackson, Mahomes has the highest ceiling of any QB in the league and is in consideration to be the first signal-caller to come off the board in fantasy drafts at some point in the third round.
