Mark Ingram II 2020 Outlook: Downward Spiral?
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Mark Ingram II was a consistent fantasy option in 2019. He would finish the year surpassing the 1,000-yard mark for the third time in his career and also found the end zone 10 times, the second-highest mark throughout his tenure in the league. While the Ravens were upset by the Tennessee Titans during the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs, his contributions across 15 games were enough to earn him a trip to the Pro Bowl for the third time in his nine seasons of service. The Ravens have assembled one of the most impressive rosters heading into the 2020 season, and while Ingram should continue to get touches, he will likely split carries with three other running backs, including 2020 second-round pick J.K. Dobbins from Ohio State. Compile that with Lamar Jackson's need for rushing attempts, Ingram's production on the fantasy end may not have as much of an impact this upcoming year.
