5 years agoThe Chicago Bears are trying to get involved with trading for Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles, according to a source. The Bears are also talking with New Orleans Saints impending free-agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater as they look for alternatives to Mitch Trubisky, who just hasn't been the answer under center to begin his career. Foles won a Super Bowl MVP with the Eagles, but he disappointed as a big free-agent addition for the Jags last year. He broke his collarbone in Week 1 and was benched in favor of rookie Gardner Minshew when he returned late in the year. If he were acquired by Chicago and became the starter, Foles would merely be a midrange QB2 with questionable upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
