5 years agoWith the players approving the NFL's new Collective Bargaining Agreement on Sunday, the salary cap for the 2020 season is officially moving up to $198.2 million. It's an expected increase of $10 million from last year's salary cap number. With the new CBA in place, players won't be subject to substance-abuse suspensions, and the schedule could include a 17-game season with only three preseason games as early as 2021. The league will also go to seven teams per conference in the playoffs, starting this season. Free agency and the new league year is scheduled to begin on March 18, but that could be pushed back due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus. Stay tuned.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
