Jordan Yamamoto Allows One Run on Tuesday
5 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto pitched well on Tuesday, tossing three innings while allowing one run on four hits in a Grapefruit League start against the New York Mets. Yamamoto didn't walk anyone and struck out one. He allowed the run on a solo home run by Jeff McNeil. Yamamoto has looked solid this spring, and he showed signs of being a valuable big league starter last season. After his hot start, however, Yamamoto struggled quite a bit last season, leading to questions of consistency. He's worth keeping an eye on in deeper mixed leagues and NL-only, but isn't someone that needs to be drafted just yet.
