5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Giovanny Gallegos picked up a save in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Washington Nationals. Gallegos hasn't been great in the early going this spring, but he was solid in this one, allowing just one hit in his inning of work while recording a strikeout. Gallegos is the apparent front-runner for the ninth inning role in St. Louis and should have tons of fantasy value in all formats if he earns the closer role.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
