Zachary Sanford Nets Two In Blues Comeback Win
5 years agoThe St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks played a back-and-forth affair that saw the teams score six third-period goals. The Blues scored two late goals to take the win 6-5. Zach Sanford broke a six-game scoreless streak with his two goals (and one assist). He now has 15 goals and 29 points in 51 games. Robert Thomas had three points, including a goal, and now has five points over his past three games. Brayden Schenn’s two points helped him break the 50-point plateau for the fifth straight season. Jaden Schwartz’s two assists also helped him top the 50-point mark for the third time in four seasons. Ryan O’Reilly and David Perron also had two points each. Jonathan Toews had two points in the losing effort. Dominik Kubalik’s assist gave him seven points in the past six games.
