J.T. Realmuto Loses Arbitration Case
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto lost his salary arbitration case and will make $10 million in 2020 instead of the $12.4 million he was requesting, according to a source. Realmuto was an All-Star for the second straight season in 2019 and hit .275/.328/.493 with a career-high 25 home runs, 83 RBI and nine stolen bases in 145 games in his first season with the Phillies. He was already a high-end fantasy backstop with the Marlins, but he's easily the No. 1 overall fantasy catcher in Philadelphia. Realmuto should come off the board around the eighth or ninth round of drafts.
