Nathaniel Lowe Drops 20 Pounds
5 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Nathaniel Lowe has slimmed down by around 20 pounds. In his rookie season in 2019, Lowe hit .263/.325/.454 with seven home runs and 19 RBI in 50 games for the Rays in 152 at-bats. There's definitely some intrigue here, but the Rays have plenty of other options for first base, including Ji-Man Choi, Yandy Diaz, Jose Martinez and Yoshitomo Tsutsugo, so playing time will be a real question mark for Lowe, especially if he's not producing. Consider him as a late-round flier in deep mixed leagues and bench depth in AL-only formats. He's RotoBaller's No. 28-ranked fantasy first baseman.
