5 years agoCalgary Flames goaltender Cam Talbot saved a career-high 44 shots in a shutout on Thursday, helping the team to a big 6-0 road victory over the Ducks. It's the most saves a Flames goaltender has produced in a shutout performance since 1975. Talbot took his record for the season up to 8-8-1 with the performance. He had a very rough ride during the first half of the season, but things have improved for him significantly in 2020, with the veteran netminder collecting five wins since the calendar changed.
