Andre Burakovsky Stays Hot In Avalanche Win

Andre Burakovsky’s assist gave him 40 points in 49 games on the season, which is a new career high. He now has 12 points in the last six games. Rookie defenseman Cale Makar also hit the 40-point mark with a goal and an assist in the game. He has seven points in six games. Valeri Nichushkin scored a goal for the second straight game. In net, Philipp Grubauer stopped 25 of 26 shots and has allowed just a single goal in two straight games. On the losing side, Brady Tkachuk had the lone goal, and he also added 10 hits and fired seven shots to hit the 200-shot plateau.
