Lucas Glover Struggling So Far This Season
5 years agoLucas Glover is in the field this week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am looking to improve on his T7 finish last year. Glover had a share of the 36-hole lead last year with eventual winner Phil Mickelson and finished the tournament at 11-under par, eight shots back of Mickelson. A repeat performance is unlikely since Glover has struggled so far this season, missing three cuts, and outside of a top-10 finish at the Shriners, he hasn’t finished better than T37 at any tournament. Last year at this tournament, Glover had success by hitting over 79% of greens on regulation and gaining more than two strokes putting on the field during one of the better seasons of his career. So far this season, he ranks 75th in greens in regulation and 110th in shots gained: putting. At $7,600 on DraftKings and $9,400 on FanDuel, there are better options to roster.
