Eagles Expected To Dump Offensive Coordinator
5 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles are expected to part ways with offensive coordinator Mike Groh and wide receivers coach Carson Walch on Thursday, according to league sources. The Eagles offense was undermanned for most of the season due to injuries to wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery and running back Jordan Howard. Considering those setbacks, the Eagles made due and were respectable on offense, mostly thanks to Carson Wentz, rookie Miles Sanders and tight ends Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert. They posted 360.8 yards per game, 239.6 passing yards per game, 121.2 rushing yards per game and 24.1 points per game.
