Tom Brady Not Guaranteed To Stay In New England
5 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who will be a free agent in March, is far from a guarantee to re-sign with the Patriots. Brady played potentially his final home game as a member of the Patriots on Saturday when they lost to the Titans in the wild-card game. He didn't have a ton of help outside of Julian Edelman in the passing game in 2019, but Brady's numbers were down across the board this year. He completed only 60.8 percent of his passes for 4,057 yards, 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions for a passer rating of 88.0. The 42-year-old could choose to go elsewhere in 2020, but his declining arm strength will likely be an issue once again. Brady will be a low-upside QB2 depending on where he winds up.
