Eagles Optimistic That Zach Ertz Will Play
5 years agoThere is optimism surrounding Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz (back, ribs) and whether he can play on Sunday in the wild-card game against the Seahawks, barring any surprises, according to sources. Ertz has passed some stringent tests but will need to pass more in order to play this weekend. He had a small cut on his kidney that is healing quickly, but the Eagles are being cautious. Most signs are pointing towards Ertz being active against Seattle, but he'll likely be at less than 100 percent and may be used mostly as a decoy on the field. We wouldn't suggest using Ertz at his high DFS price point this weekend. Dallas Goedert should see more playing time regardless and is the better fantasy play.
