Miles Sanders Has Low-Grade Ankle Sprain
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders' (ankle) MRI exam showed a low-grade ankle sprain, according to a source. Head coach Doug Pederson said that Sanders is "going to be OK," but inflammation is the issue early in the week. Sanders seems to have a good chance of playing in the wild-card game on Sunday night against the Seahawks, but his practice status this week will give us a better idea. With Jordan Howard missing six games due to a shoulder injury, the rookie running back took control of the lead-back role and gave fantasy owners RB2 upside down the stretch. He'll be a shaky DFS pick, though, this weekend if he's at less than 100 percent. Boston Scott, who had three TDs in Week 17, and Howard could see more work if Sanders needs to be spelled more often.
